Ha. Ok. But adding GR to COL49/VL/IV would make it a...hang on... a tetralogy. B-but, what about all that stuff in ADT about the Hollywood 'shadow factory'.... and all those rumours about Pynchon maybe tinkering with screenplays, or working for MGM...usw....

Speaking of Pynchon wuz there, I have still never seen any substantial discussion about the interesting contradictions which are, ahem, inherent in Pynchon's having worked for missile-making Boeing, then going on to write GR. What was this old hippie dude doing working for those agents of, if not death, at least of deep shit?
