Yes yes. I wasn't making any big hostorical point. But Norman Stone is
well known, over here, as a right-wing windbag semi-celebrity academic.
And Princip is an odd figure to pick to 'agree with' or use to make a
point. That's all.

The grim facre which was the Feerdinand assassination is well worth
reading about. I still puzzle over why Pynchon excluded it from ATD.
