we all feel a bit better when they're not around as Barfly would say. But...
Placing the police in this bubble, devoid of society's derangements (I
don't think you'll find many a cop who approves of our policy on
firearms, dipshits who have easy access to assault weapons), and
compromises/evasions (the police didn't create racism) is naive.
They are a reflection of us
