Overrated?

I love his stand-up, yes, and his collections of writing, 'Without
Feathers', etc.

His post-'Manhattan' stuff, there is still greatness in there: Hannah
and Her Sisters, Crimes and Misdemeanors, Broadway Danny Rose, Play It
Again Sam, and a few others are well worth watching. He hasn't done
anything but crap for the last 20 years, I'll grant you that.

I remember me and a friend going to see Manhattan Murder Mystery in the
Queen's Film Theatre in Belfast, and being able to choose *any seat in
the house* because we were the only ones there. 

It's sad, what happened to Woody.

It's my guess that OBA would be more of a fan of his verbal comedy,
which is more writerly, than his movies.  Woody's post-Manhattan movies
don't bear revisiting.  It's no wonder he left Farrow and tried to get a
little juice back in his life.
