Pynchon references in popular music

I passionately love 'The Bends' and 'OK Computer', and there are some
Pynchonian resonances in there, but everything they've done since then
left me completely cold. Haven't bothered with 'In Rainbows' yet. I wish
they'd go back to riting songs. I respect them for not just churning out
retreads of 'OK Computer', and slaute their impulse towards
experimentation - it's just that, imho, their experiments don't work.
