Pynchon in Popular Music

we gotta keep our heroes as we get'em on LI (I grew up in Suffolk
County which is even lower on the cultural scale than the more upscale
Nassau County--I don't include the Hamptons as its a place of rich &
celebrated and not the real LI--tho I loved Grey Gardens)
