Pynchon blurbs, wittily, Einstein on The Middle East.

My daughter's at Brandeis University, which was originally slated to be called Einstein University (He declined that also, apparently. Jews aren't supposed to name kids or institutions after people who are still alive-- bad manners). The gist of the book seems to be that, contrary to what lots of Jews would have you believe, Einstein was no Zionist. Either Pynchon likes anything to do with Einstein or he dislikes Zionism or both.
