Pynchon blurbs, wittily, Einstein on The Middle East.

If there is one issue I don't want to delve into - and of course there
are many - it's probably that one.  Suffice it to say, the interesting
thing to me is that (imho) the variety of views between the leftist
and rightist of the Jewish persuasion is not unlike that between
leftist and rightist Christians - using the same text they come to
wildly different conclusions.

Not unlike what we've seen sometimes on this list...
