Of course i am not saying that. But I would say that the majority of Serbs are deluded, to some extent, over the nature of their role in what happened. Serbs have a long tradition of clinging to the idea of victimhood, which is what Milosevic's demagoguery so deftly manipulated. 
 
Because of the way the conflict ended, with Dayton, etc., there was  no full, final surrender, as there was for teh Nazis, so there has been no 'closure' for the Serbs. They were allowed to set up their own partitioned mini-state, the 'Serb Republic', inside Bosnia, and including some of the aread where the worst of their prison camps were, where they committed some of their worst atrocities. Imagine if the Nzais, at the end of WWII, had been allowed to keep, say, Poland, and run it as a Fascist state. A reductive comparison of course but you get the point.
 
Serbs today continue to see themselves as victims, and many honestly believe that the world is against them and that all the stories of genocide are false. Not to be rude, but people such as yourself, who allow themselves to fall for that idea, even partially, evenb briefly, are a part of teh problem.

Baffling statement. I cannot understand how a half-way intelligent person could say this. What do you mean? Who is making such a claim?

Yes, of course. Of course. But the bulk of the Belgrade intelligensia supported Milosevic.

Really? Who says it was 'stolen'? How do you know the Natvie AMericans didn't just get what they deserved? HOw do you know they were really 'native'? Were they all angels? What if I could point you to a website which claimed those pesky natives were all villains? See how silly that sounds?
