Full disclosure: I very rarely agreed with Alice/Terrance, and very
often had no clear idea what he was going on about, and most of the
time I put that down to the fact that neither did he. Latey, I have
been scrolling past his posts in the p-list digests, so often I've
literally had no idea what he's saying. I think he frequently falls
foul of the gigantic disparity between his own reverance for his own
opinions, and the degree to which they are respected (where
understood) by everyone else. However, there's no doubt he's a bright
and committed (please, no jokes) Pynchon fan, a long-term p-lister,
and I would be sorry to see him go. I didn't read his long,
confusing/confused rambles very often, but it was nice to know they
were there.
