I would also add what happens to all that power when Mr Buffett has passed on.

that's alot of power for someone else to inherit, even if it is the
Gates Foundation, who have been criticized for wielding an awful lot
of influence in global health without much oversight or
transparency--these folks set agendas and I wonder if they appreciate
the enormous effect they have in influencing many lives and
initiatives in the places like Sub-Saharan Africa. (or at least the
public outcry--I think they're getting the message)
