all right, thanks, a dealership, or franchise. but what, then, would a "t-bird agency" be? a garage? a bar? either of them with illegal overtones?

    as for the t-bird agency (inherent vice p6): apart from me seeming to remember there was also a drinkable, or at least a liquid version of the t-bird - i just found a recipe for a t-bird cocktail on the internet.
    and apart from that: my problem concerns not only the t-bird part, but also the agency part. no matter if said t-bird is driveable or drinkable: what could be meant by this agency?
