Well, GR does leave some doubt open as to whether Slothrop actually does 
screw Bianca. This is not really a defense of Slothrop, but there is a 
slight possibility that the sex with Bianca takes place in Slothrop's head,
like the orgy on p. 304.
 
As for rich's comment, I would nominate Frank Traverse, who's a decent sorta
fella, but who kills Sloat Fresno (not to mention a trainload of federales).
