John Peel's dying wish has finally been granted - a gravestone has
been erected bearing the lyrics "teenage dreams so hard to beat" from
the DJ's all-time favourite record, the Undertones' Teenage Kicks.
Pynchon's hope in kids and staying young--think he would appreciate that epitaph
