That's another possibility  and Doc is suspicious in the same  
direction, but it gets played out pretty well in CH 17 and I am  
inclined to believe Shasta's explanations to Doc because it  
challenges Doc about who he has worked for and leads him back to  
Crocker Fenway  and Adrian Prussia and Puck. Maybe there was an  
incident with a woman  during TRP's life that made him question his  
involvement with Boeing and that is critical to his take on the  
corporate military rocket fascism connection. Certainly Boeing has  
been caught bribing Congress. Interestingly The MK ultra program  
began by recruiting nazi scientists who had experimented with mind  
control.
Anyway re read 17 and see  what you think. Maybe I'm missing something.
