this I don't completely agree with.  I got a lot out of GR, M&D, AGTD,
with a standard non-academic reading.  So 'require' - no...
but "reward", sure, as a respectful amateur, I'll go along with that.

I agree, there isn't that much there to her.
For me, any interest she has is in what she means and might have
meant to Doc...what their non-relationship ("this doesn't mean we're
back together") means to his character...
