Yeah, but couldn't that be used as a pretty good summary of 'what went
on/wrong in the Sixties'?

Well, we must at least strongly suspect that the Bush govt. knew
*something* was gonna happen, and they said 'bring it on' because they
wanted a 'Pearl Harbour' event to use as an excuse for what they
already planned.

The Saudis, who knows eh? Certainly it would be easy to make a case
that they oughtta shoulda known something was probably gonna happen
sooner or later. There's been a marked reluctance, on the part of the
US govt. and media, to trace the money, and the religious
fundamentalism, and the actual people, back to the Saudis. For obvious
reasons. Add to that the fact that Bush Sr. was meeting with Saudis,
and others, members of teh Carlyle Group, including at least one Bin
Laden, on Sept 11th, and it begins to look odd, no? I know you can't
just say, aha! But there are a lot of questions which require answers.
Instead of asking them, all the Bin Ladens etc. in America were
shepherded safely out of the country in the immediate aftermath of
9/11.

Something, in fact more than one thing, stinks. It may not make sense,
but then what does?
