One one hand, we 'know' there were assassination plots on the boil
even before Obama was elected. On the other hand, isn't this a bit of
a lame excuse for why he can't do anything?
I remember haveing flaming rows over Clinton, and a lot of people
saying, ah, just wait and see, he can't do anything in his first term,
otherwise he'd blow his chance of a second term, but once he secures
that, boy, you want radical? You won't believe how radical Bill will
be then.... etc. Always seemed an insane thesis to me.
Like Tony Blair here, back in 1997, I was 'disappointed' in Obama
before he even had a chance not to disappoint me. Did anybody really
think he was some sort of Leftie? Sheesh.
The Nobel institution is a fucking joke. Whether they're awarding for
literature or 'peace', they haven't a fucking clue.

well, but, any immediate changes could be met by assassination.
