The hard back has different colored type depending on what the author  
is using for 'ink.'

Flanagan's novel Waiting is good in the same way Gould is good. The  
others are a different style, not so much to my liking.

I met some folks from Australia at the Henry Miller Library a couple  
of years back, and they chose friends based on whether they were  
Gould's readers or Death of a River Guide readers.
