OK, you both talked me into it.  I just ordered a copy through
AbeBooks.com.  It didn't hurt that the total only came to $4 for a
"new" hardback w/ jacket in mint condition ($1 for the book + $3
shipping).

The reason I hesitated in the first place was the numerous hrsh review
blurbs at the link you provided.  But I usually like somewhat
difficult & experimental books.
