	I know I said I'd shut up, but I have to agree: TN is tremendous.
and (googles...) The Death of Artemio Cruz is stunning, the only book I 
have ever put down because it was too disturbing. 
	TN is more of the Great Spanish Empire Novel than the Great
Mexican Novel.  TDoAC is a history of Mexico as lived by a fellow who
kept switching sides at the last moment.
