Howie arrives at Rex's place in Vineland page 234 -

"In the far corner of the freezer he found a chocolate-covered banana from Hermosa Beach, all crystalline with undefrosted snow, and wandered back in" . . .

. . . ""Weed is an FBI plant," Frenesi told him" . . .

. . . "Howie got instant dry mouth, and the frozen banana turned to sawdust. The glitter eyed absence of humor in the room drew into its vacuum and down over his cringing soul the cold certainty that they weren't fooling."

Do all those thermodynamics going on here key into the TRP ting with entropy ?
