All this talk of barbed wire, paved deserts and 'real' estate
definitely links in with that M&D notion of boundary-drawing as a kind
of original sin, too. The dangerous energy-expenditure of keeping
things separate - the hothouse and the street - goes aaaaall the way
back to V. I suppose. I guess the result is someone like Bigfoot,
who'll end up as the LAPD's own Charlie Manson if he keeps trying to
police those borders.
