IV cover etc

The dang book was only released here today, so I hot-footed it to a
few bookstores to check out the finished product. I hadn't seen the
back cover, which is quite lovely with all those stars and the rolling
surf.
Also: a nice contrast between the hyper-realism of the car & surf shop
and the grainy, textured waves whose hand-drawn nature is really
evident (or is it crayon rubbing?)
Also: the foggy title pages are very different from the pre-pub
copies. Firstly, they're very dark and monotone, whereas preview
copies have heaps of contrast between the different shades of grey. At
times it looks like there might be a shape in the static, like a magic
eye picture (cf Hollander of course). Moreover, the two preview copies
I have feature different shapes to each other, as if the printing
process isn't just copying but in fact creates the blurred background
anew each time. If anyone has two copies of the published book, can
you check if they differ from one another in this way? I'd like it if
every copy of IV were ever-so-slightly unique, even in this relatively
pointless way.
