Well I don't understand  what expression of paranoia is under attack   
but In my experience there's paranoia,  there's risk assessment, and  
there's curiouser and curiouser. A detective who did not question  
motives, follow connections and look for patterns and hidden  
information would be in the wrong job. And every person who wants to  
understand the world will have to take up some private detective work.

That's just dumb. Pynchon explicitly includes the CIA  a player and  
the corrupting interactions of  so called intelligence operations as  
a topic in IV. And he frequents the  topic of conspiracy  and  
paranoia. It seems to me that you are the one who is doing the mocking

As an avid gardener I recommend sticking with seeds when it comes to  
planting time. Flowers are basically the plant's reproductive organ  
containing male and female parts, which when pollinated produces the  
fruit body with the baby plants we call seeds.

Yes. Let a thousand flowers bloom. And cross pollinate. And make  
seeds.  And these be sown and watered to grow again with slight  
genetic variations resulting from the pollination.
