If Scott's last name is Oof, doesn't that make Doc's aunt's name Reet Oof?

Sounds like a heavily-accented pronunciation of "write off."  (I might
be stretching my ear hear -- whaddya think?)  As in, we couldn't move
the shipment before it spoiled, so we had to write it off.  Nah, the
insurance wouldn't let us file a claim -- they said that spoilage is
an inherent vice of kreplach.
