Glad to hear you all came through safely and had a home to return to.
I sympathize acutely with your situation after our fires down here in
Big Sur a couple years ago. The land is recovering nicely, but a lot
of historic sites were lost. It is good, too, to see that my faith
that there are good people everywhere but in the media plays out in
more places than just the life I get to observe.
