Someone who hates Pynchon (because of his 'corrupted pride') and we fans.

Welcome....continue........mixin's good as the Founding Fathers
said........................

Don't know nuthin' about GameFAQ's...came via a Google alert and I sent it to
give us all perspective
as we argue over finer points from somewhere very different. I do try to
remember how hard it was
to read V. and GR once uponb a time for me.......................

Yeah, Vineland as best....like many, including Coleridge I think, found
Midsummer Night's Dream Shakescene's
best.....perfect......whereas the BIG ones, the ambitious tragedies, all had
some flaws somehwere....

And Tennyson evidently called for Cymbeline on his deathbed....(but maybe for
one scene of expressed marital bliss)

Sometime lurker, first time poster.

It's GameFAQs...what do you expect?

I could actually see an argument for Vineland as TRP's best- most succinct
exploration of his thesis, most well-fleshed out characters, most accessible to
non Pynchonoids- but I don't think that's the troll here. Everything else is the
troll.

(I am not necessarily making that argument for Vineland, btw- just saying it
could be plausibly made. Just not by a GameFAQs poster.)
