He is speaking of himself as a Journeyman, having put up enough  
drywall to get some respect from the rest of the crew.

Then he speaks of the experience of really listening to the sounds  
people make when they speak, kinda like Mucho Maas really "hearing"  
the sounds he has been broadcasting for the very first time.

She really does love you, she really is everywhere.
