NP - Sign Ant- Obama-GOP Tax Cut Petition

I've heard this over and over:  "Obama's hands are ties.  There's nothing he can do but prevent bad things from getting worse."  Would President Palin's hands be similarly tied?  Or is it only Democratic presidents who are powerless?  Why is that?  It's not a very persuasive argument for voting Democrat.  I'm with Bernie Sanders and (finally!) MoveOn.org on this one.  I'm guessing I would have preferred Churchill to Chamberlain back in the day.
