neat tidbit...

here's another - wikipedia sez Donovan claims to have contributed the
line "skies of blue, and sea of green" to the song "Yellow Submarine"

Bekah remembers Mellow Yellow as sounding like "quite right, slick"
and my sister swore up and down back when it was on the radio that
those were the words. I think, though, that there was this delicious wetness
in his British pronunciation resulting from the way they make the "t" much
more distinct than we do in the States. There's a British fellow at work and
I'm all the time marveling at the distinctness of his "t"s

Everything stops for "t"?

(I'm an all-day sucker for a British accent anyroad)
