This decision has so got to me.....like a blow......yes, maybe shoot me now...

Talk about P's prescience and lifelong themes.....this turns the political future into a new 1984, closer to Orwell's dark, narrower book---narrower than Vineland, I mean. Thought control now by companies fully openly, totally, insidiously......

Power, now fully bought and sold.....power, that force in his fiction which destroys ...humanity....atttempts to even be human a bit.....
