Robert Stone interview?

A few years ago I read an interview with Stone in which he was talking about some drug he had tried that had a terrible effect, some experimental substance that just wiped you out and had no enjoyable side etc. yet people still wanted it. At the end he said something to the effect of, "that's how it was in those days. People would say, 'that was really f**king terrible! Where can I get som more?'"

I have since googled heavily but have not been able to find that interview again. Anybody else seen it?
