I liked The Sea, The Sea, which was a mercifully easy read given her
reputation as occasionally difficult (not having read any of her other
works, perhaps the reason it won the Booker Prize was for its greater
accessibility). The one caveat I would add is that it contains a lot of
characters from the luvvie/fop archetype,which puts off a lot of readers
from the outset - although personally I didn't think they were too
irritating.
