somewhere in the Education, he mentions explosives/dynamite as one of history's
ways of 'educating"...
couple times uses the word traverse when a simpler one would do.....
In his essays, he writes that groups of humans before recorded history were
often 'communistic', sharing
everything but that that condition probably did not last "cause people wanted
what they liked"----which
meant property.
Elsewhere, he thought the early anthropologists had recorded that women were
also "property" and
since he came to value women more than men, of course, so this is a
major example of a fall from a good to a far worse condition.
