Kit, Vibe and Quants

Reading now the sections re: the Kit--Scarsdale relationship (around pg 300
or so), how Kit, the spiritually inclined mathematician, wants so
desperately to get away from the voracious capitalism of Vibe and his lust
for Kit's skills and help in making him even more money. Funny, how this
highlights the role (mostly bad) of the so-called "quants" on wall street
the last few years.
