you know this is my 3rd read of AtD and have to say I've come not to like
Reef all that much. no wonder Cyprian becomes a nun having to screw around
with Reef and Yashmeen.
is it because he's the most like Webb?
beyond that, I continue to be amazed at the proliferating amount of
connections, mirrorings, doublings that Pynchon is able to master. Could
one say the form of the book is similar to a fractal?
he's done a V, a parabola, a line. why not a fractal?
