Yes, but isn't it (KA) also a machine cure that saved Takeshi from the
death touch of DL?  That touch was orchrstrated purposely by DL's
kidnapper, Ralph W.  Everybody in VL seems to have an angle, but only
Takeshi has   the magic window that can flatten them all into view.
