V-2nd - Chapter 10: typos

Just a pre-script here - a number of typos in this chapter (Harper Perennial).

1.  This might be a stylistic choice, not a typo, but it jars:
 p. 305 - "This was last set ..."  You never did "the," Kenosha Kid.  Lower down on the page, when McClintic's speaking in exaggerated Negro-ese, he says "de set."

2.  This is either a typo, an obscure jazz term or an oddly gratuitous pun:
 p. 306: "They took fours with the drummer, stated the main thyme in unison and left the stand."  Thyme could be a cutesy rendering of "time," but it's just a typo rendering of "theme."

3.  p. 313:  "She beat, him to it: her hand reached for his belt buckle..."  Me Tarzan, you Jane?
