ah well, de gustibus. I'm not kidding, though, for me it's easily in
my top 5 for him. His voice is awesome (always has been, always will
be) and of course the non-controversial material helps.
John Lennon's christmas song and Chrissie Hynde's Christmas song are
awesome too. As a matter of fact, the Jimi Hendrix Christmas EP long
version of Auld Lang Syne has become my favorite in his songbook too,
by virtue of some kind of audio engineering thing they do about 1/2way
into it where the guitar sound balances out the hemispheres of my
brain and gently palpates my pineal gland thru the right sinuses, very
therapeutic and psychedelic indeed...
not sure if this would happen to anybody else - would love to know...
I found it on iTunes (and I'm not even enough of an audiophile to
download the lossless version, which might be even trippier)

not familiar with that, it's a bootleg, right?
I have this project going, I'm gradually listening to the whole Dylan
catalogue, theoretically going to do research too, as time permits.
The bootlegs I want most are the ones from the Basement Tapes time...
