In this chapter when Benny was with Mafia he thinks that since she won't let 
Jews in, maybe a half-Jew [he] could get in. He sorta lusts for her.
Until she undoes his belt and drops her skirt......after which he no longer 
does.     Just like in the bathtub with what's her name, he even says.

Aggressive women kill his lust? Not untypical but ahead of its cultural time in 
general since the Crew was avant? 

Keith Richards' LIFE shows how TRP got some things right here in the Sphere jazz 
circle set. "Staying Over?" asks Matilda,
as casually as that as she hung around McClintic. Keith sez, about very early 
sixties: "They hung around, did laundry, cooked,  then "wanna cuddle" when the 
[heat] meter went out and it happened.
