young girl while filming some dumbass tv show? here is the story but
so much more about how screwed up Detroit is--no one in this piece is
spared: the cops, the family of the murdered kid, the city gov't and
employees, etc.

if you could encapsulate the whole HBO show Wire this would be the piece.
