rarely does anyone accuse me of realism!

it's just, there is that quixotic hope in him, not realistic at all,
that he's like the kid with the ass-mar, blowing the fricking conch
shell and stuff - and there's something in me that responds to that
and I will stand with him against the little pig-hunting bastards and
resist atavism!

and you know he's going up against the criminally insane to get
anything done at all, and he's not some rah-rah asshole who you can
tell gets a helluva kick out of being commander in chief - I mean, not
to get that vibe

(and maybe I'm fooling myself, but I really don't)

that's quite rather huge in my book
