Seems Manto was latterly a daughter of Heracles, not an accident, I'm sure....
Manto was also described in late myths as a daughter of Heracles.--wikipedia on

And that "while time circled him' is pure Eliot, at least and 
the image dovetails with a prophetess "proving' Gwyon's ministry...
