Docetism (which is new to me) is more the opposite of the model (not
"mine") I described (Jesus not God & no Trinity), but I mentioned the
illogic of the God-baby which Docetism seems to recognized and
resolve.

I can see the Trinity as an archetype, but a 3-part being (in Jungian
terms) is always seeking a 4th part for resolution/balance.  Mary
might fill that spot, or maybe the individual seeker...

My point was the there were many contenders and other models that were
squelched and ground to dust in order for the Trinity to reign.
