"The Recognitions" becomes visible everywhere

Some readers can let themselves be so taken with
a book or an author, its/his themes, tropes, style, etc. that
one projects too much everywhere....

Yet, the genius of great writers is: they do ripple from the center
of a lake to all shores. (THAT metaphor, by the way, is from
Shakespeare--- to describe fame: wide-ranging ripples that
just end like bubbles)

So, as I am reading and encountering many uses of the word
'recognitions' and trying to feel its neaning.......

I watched Mike Daisy on Book--TV talk about his latest monologue
re Steve Jobs and the worker(s)' exploitation and suicides in
China, and he said..........................

"They [the workers] don't want more money...what they want
is recognition for the need of humane working conditions."
