The West by and large, including Jung, really doesn't get nonduality.
Jung and his followers are all about the preservation of the ego in
relation to the Self. Note Hillman's 'polytheistic' psychology and
Edinger's ego-Self axis. And, the East is like the West in that
organized Eastern religions also literalize and dogmatize something
that is about fucking around with the structure and dynamics of
consciousness, about dying as a separate entity. You cannot have
anything but warrior culture so long as dualism reigns. If you claim
you're selfless you're contradicting yourself.
