Everybody okay (again)?

I'm among that small, cynical group of New Yorkers who thinks Bloomberg was still reacting to his under-reaction to this past winter's blizzard, in his decision to completely shut down the entire public transit system for two days.  It's routine for the city to shut down whole sections of various lines every single weekend for construction projects, and shutting down the lines most likely to be affected would have been sufficient.
