... having missed my cue to start, then having experienced technical
difficulties, and meanwhile having now wasted the better (not to
mention the worse) part of my, uh, year off here, I figured (a) I owe
y'all something, @ least, on Ch. 4 of V., and (2) this'd give me
something constructive to do, so ...

... so if I'm stepping on any toes, let me know, I haven't even been
looking @ my e-mail et al. for the better/worse part of a week, but
seeing as thi MIGHT be a quiet moment, I'm going to @ least trry to
catch up as much as possible today, which, @ my usual rate, having
left off @ p. 102 (current HarperPerennial Modern Classics ed.),
oghtta get me to about p. 103 today, but ...
