And speaking of the invention of Christianity is it possible that Wyatt
is some kind of crazy stand in for Saint Paul.
In the original Recognitions Paul downplays the Jewish law in order to
pursue a faith in the Resurrection and Life Everlasting.
Wyatt breaks the law (against fraud) to achieve his own higher
authenticity.
It's a thought.
